I will do my best to pass on faith and Godly values to my grandchildren.
In what I say and what I do, I will aim to impart to my grandchildren the fruits of the Spirit, positive character traits, and biblical ways of living, as well as the power of genuine faith, as referenced in 2 Timothy 1:5, which says, “I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.”
As the Holy Spirit leads me, I will “tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, His power, and the wonders He has done” (Psalm 78:4).
I understand that in addition to having fun and making happy memories with my grandchildren, I have a calling from the Lord to help them “know Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2).
This is my mission, and I gladly accept it.
